As we mentioned yesterday restyle Lexus will introduce the IS range (which already have pictures) in the upcoming Paris Motor Show.
The news today via Carscoop we knew is that among the plans of Toyota’s luxury brand comes to present a convertible version that even in principle be a prototype, only changes will be made regarding the production version due out in 2009.
The roof chosen would be similar to the current Lexus SC, ie, a retractable aluminum hardtop that would be housed in the hollow trunk.
Also as expected the 4-door sedan will become the only 2 in the convertible version.
Direct rival to the BMW 3 Series Convertible and the future Audi A5 Convertible.
Have already revealed the first pictures of the slight facelift has given his Lexus IS series, the sports sedan of the Japanese who come to renew the model slightly been manufacturing since 2005.
