The SLK 2011 is a folding hardtop convertible and two squares. Replaces model has been available since 2008 (more information) which in turn was an update of the SLK, 2004 (more information). Will go on sale from March 2011. It is the third generation of the convertible.
Be available with three types of roof: metal (pictured), dark glass and, new, may have a glass ceiling, called “SKY MAGYC CONTROL” – whose main characteristic is that it can darken, pressing a button, to regulate amount of light entering the cabin, thus ignoring the usual curtains.
Like other models of the brand, can have the system “AIRSCARF” a chute on the headrests of the seats that projects a stream of hot air to the neck and shoulders of the occupants.
Mercedes-Benz SLK. 2011Como alternative to the classic model windscreen, the SLK has a system-called ‘AIRGUIDE “- composed of two pieces of clear plastic, located behind the headrests, which vary their position to reduce turbulence occurring in the cabin when driving with the top down at a certain speed. The driver and front passenger can activate them depending on your need.
The engines available from the time of launch are three, all gasoline direct injection.
